Chrome Extensions Salesforce IDs

The Salesforce ID is a unique identifier of the records which are located in the Salesforce organizations. These IDs exist in 15-character or 18-character formats and are stored in the id field of any Salesforce objects. The 15-character SFDC ID can be converted into an 18-character format. There are multiple google chrome extensions available which makes working with Salesforce ID much simpler.

Now click on the scissors icon once, that will clip the Id to the clipboard. If you click again, it will show the 18 character version of the id. The icon will turn green when you successfully clip the Id and shows an 18 when the 18 character version is shown along with the 'Link'.

It works perfectly on the lightning platform. A perfect use case will be, when you're working with a chunk of exported Salesforce records in an Excel or text file, we might want to see the Salesforce record that corresponds to a particular SF ID that is there in the exported file.  Salesforce ID Paster makes this task easy by holding the copied value on the keyboard.
